Mission Statement
As individuals making up our organization, we want to challenge and inspire each other in a unified way to become the customer-recognized leaders, both individually and collectively, in supplying adhesion-related products and services to an increasing number of select markets and customers in a way that generates worthwhile return on investment for everyone involved.

Franklin Values
We conduct every aspect of our business in accordance with our “Values.” The values stated below are what every employee is measured by each day at Franklin. They are tools to be used in making difficult decisions and in evaluating the performance of ourselves, our leaders and our peers. Any action or statement that conflicts with these values must be challenged, without risk to the challenger.

Customer First: Our highest value is to partner with our customers, both external and internal, meaning co-workers, to achieve mutually acceptable goals. We support their efforts with high-value products, excellent service and after-the-sale support, anticipating and meeting their needs whenever possible. We understand that we work for our customers - not Franklin - and that anything short of 100 percent performance on our part results in their loss.

Integrity and Dependability: We base decisions on principles derived from what is good and right - not from convenience. We thoughtfully consider our commitments to customers, both internal and external. Once a commitment is made, we fulfill it to the best of our ability, even if the consequences are burdensome or unprofitable.

Respect for Individuals: We begin every day and every interaction with the assumption that each person in our organization wants to contribute value to our mission. We commit to truly listening and treating their efforts and ideas with dignity and appreciation. Our goal in every relationship is to build trust, with the understanding that trust is earned - not given - through consistency between our words and actions.

Effort and Accountability: We always seek to be held accountable for our work and to hold others accountable for their work. We willingly confront difficult situations, while holding fast to our other values. We expect people to put forth their best reasonable effort at all times, and we place a high value on those efforts that stand out from others. However, no extraordinary work effort is worth the long-term deterioration of a person’s family responsibilities.

Teamwork: We seek to understand each team member’s role and his or her unique ability to contribute to the achievement of our goals. We solicit input and counsel from others whenever possible. We also proactively try to help our team members to be more successful, keeping the goals of our customers and of Franklin ahead of the goals of individuals or departments. It is through our combined efforts and expertise that we optimize our performance.

Knowledge and Learning: The only sustainable advantage that our organization has is our ability to learn and apply knowledge faster and better than our competitors. Learning is most often accomplished through taking risks, failing, and risking again - not just exposure to ideas. Knowing this, we invest in an individual’s or a team’s growth and development by encouraging educated risk-taking. And we require open and honest sharing of knowledge with our team members.

Quality and Craftsmanship: We demonstrate pride in our work through attention to detail in the design and consistent production of our output. Each person’s work is not only a reflection of his or her own character - it creates for the customer a lasting impression of the entire company.

Safety, Health and Environment: We uphold the safety and health of our team members, our customers and our neighbors. And we do our part to protect the beauty and purity of our land, our air and our water. It is not enough simply to meet regulations; rather, we are driven to meet a higher ethical standard of responsibility and excellence.
